ListenAgain 3.2

Another minor upgrade to BBC ListenAgain.

What's new:

- Accessibility (thanks to James Jolley's invaluable advice and testing)
- Volume control
- Hotkeys (left/right = skip, up/down = volume, space = play/pause, s=stop, p=station popup)

This has been developed and tested on Mac 10.5

VoiceOver users: when selecting stations use VoiceOver keys with the arrows to select the station from the menu.

Requires RealPlayer 10.1 Update, RealPlayer 11 doesn't play when Dashboard is hidden. Use RealPlayer 10.1

Download

Troubleshooting:
Try and play directly from the BBC website. If it works there then it will almost certainly work in Dashboard. If not the problem has historically been issues with RealPlayer - try uninstalling and reinstalling RealPlayer using the version from the BBC website. Reboot after the reinstall to restart Dashboard.

Let me know any other problems.

Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger is required. If you're using Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it. If you're using a browser other than Safari, click the download link. When the widget download is complete, unarchive it and place it in /Library/Widgets/ in your home folder. Show Dashboard, click the Plus sign to display the Widget Bar and click the widget's icon in the Widget Bar to open it.

I really, really like your widget.
Skip/pause options are very nice.

widgets...or something
anyway, thanks a lot

I just wanted to add my praise to the posting.

Any widget that lets me listen to BBC World Service and then That Mitchell and Webb Sound is amazing in my book.

I think the widget doesn't list quite a few programmes, at least on World Service, which is what I use it for. If you look at the list at http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/programmes/ then there are quite a few that aren't listed on the widget. In particular Charlie Gillet's World of Music, which is the one I really want to be able to get ...

Best. Widget. Ever.

Seriously, your efforts are appreciated! Improvements are looking good too.

What a wonderful widget. I've had so many problems with browsers crashing trying to play BBC radio... and this worked first time! Goodbye New Zealand commercial radio forever! Many many thanks for your efforts.

Love the widget, but today, the directory for BBC7 did not come through, just the Listen Live, which works. Other stations seem to be fine.

Looks like the BBC are moving from the old radio player on which this widget relied to a new player.

Not sure if the service will come back (hope so but no promises) but stay tuned!

Problem is "Spreading" Radio 3 is now AWOL too.

Let me know if you need a tester/hand with anything.

Hi! I have always loved this widget but am having problems with the 3.2.

I have RP 10.1 installed. I do not get the list of programs associated with each channel - for instance BBC only has "Listen Live" in its list.

I have downloaded and re-installed but this has not helped. Any help would be appreciated I am going through BBC withdrawl here. :)

It seems to me that the BBC is moving listen again radio from the old radio player to the new iPlayer, hence the recent lack of station listings.
